Trade & Shipping Compliance Policy
Effective date: May 10, 2026
1. Introduction
Oiikon LLC ("Oiikon," "we," "us," or "our") is a Florida-based limited liability company that sells portable solar generators, LiFePO4 batteries, solar panels, inverters, and related accessories exclusively within the United States. This Trade & Shipping Compliance Policy outlines our commitment to operating in full compliance with applicable U.S. federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
We do not ship outside the United States. All references to "export," "international shipment," or "foreign jurisdiction" are not applicable to our current operations.
2. Geographic Scope of Operations
Shipping Territory: Oiikon ships exclusively to addresses within the United States, including:
Contiguous 48 states (free standard shipping)
Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Territories (by quote only)
International Orders: We do not accept, process, or fulfill orders for delivery to any location outside the United States. Customers outside the U.S. will be declined at checkout.
3. U.S. Sales Tax Compliance
Oiikon collects and remits sales tax in accordance with state and local tax laws where required. Tax rates are applied automatically at checkout based on the shipping destination within the United States.
Applicable Jurisdictions: We are registered to collect sales tax in Florida and other states where we maintain economic nexus. Tax amounts are calculated in real-time and itemized on all invoices and receipts.
Tax Exemptions: Customers claiming tax-exempt status (e.g., nonprofits, government entities, resellers) must provide valid exemption certificates before purchase. Contact ventas@oiikon.com for instructions.
4. Consumer Protection & FTC Compliance
Oiikon adheres to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regulations governing online commerce, including:
Accurate Product Representation: All product descriptions, images, specifications, and pricing on oiikon.com accurately represent the items offered for sale.
Clear Disclosure of Terms: Shipping costs, return policies, warranties, and any material limitations are disclosed before checkout completion.
30-Day Return Policy: Unopened and undamaged items may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund (less shipping costs). See our Shipping & Returns Policy for details.
Warranty Pass-Through: Manufacturer warranties (PECRON, SunGold Power, EcoWorthy, etc.) are honored as stated by each brand. Warranty claims are facilitated directly with the manufacturer or through Oiikon as an authorized dealer.
5. Payment Security & PCI-DSS Compliance
Oiikon uses PayPal as our primary payment processor. PayPal is certified as a PCI-DSS Level 1 Service Provider, ensuring the highest standards of payment card data security.
Accepted Payment Methods:
PayPal (credit/debit cards, PayPal balance)
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover (processed via PayPal)
Oiikon does not store credit card numbers, CVV codes, or other sensitive payment information on our servers. All payment data is encrypted and tokenized by PayPal during transmission.
6. Privacy & Data Protection
Oiikon collects and processes customer data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We are committed to transparency and data minimization.
CCPA Compliance: For California residents, we honor data access, deletion, and opt-out requests as required under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Submit requests to ventas@oiikon.com.
GDPR: As Oiikon operates exclusively within the United States and does not process data of EU residents, GDPR does not apply to our operations.
7. Anti-Fraud & OFAC Screening
To protect against fraudulent transactions and comply with U.S. federal law, Oiikon implements the following safeguards:
Address Verification System (AVS): Shipping and billing address data is cross-referenced with payment processor records to detect mismatches.
OFAC SDN Screening: Every order is screened against the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) List. This is done to ensure we do not conduct business with sanctioned individuals or entities, regardless of location. This screening is not related to international shipments—it is a standard U.S. compliance measure for domestic transactions.
Order Review: High-risk orders (e.g., unusually large quantities, inconsistent address data) are manually reviewed before fulfillment.
Orders flagged by fraud detection systems may be delayed or declined. Customers will be contacted for verification if additional information is required.
8. Record-Keeping & Audit Trail
Oiikon maintains detailed records of all sales transactions, customer consents, shipping manifests, and tax filings for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of transaction, as required under U.S. tax law and general business best practices.
Records are stored securely and are accessible only to authorized personnel. Upon written request, customers may obtain copies of their order history and payment receipts by contacting ventas@oiikon.com.
9. Updates to This Policy
Oiikon reserves the right to update this Trade & Shipping Compliance Policy at any time to reflect changes in applicable laws, regulations, or business operations. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this document indicates the most recent revision.
Customers are encouraged to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our website and services following any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
